MULLOOR SURENDRAN MEMORIAL AWARD

The first death anniversary of Sri. Mulloor Surendran, Teacher par excellence, noted environmental activist and writer will be held on October 9 at Santhigram, Chappath, near Vizhinjam. The organizing committee decided to give away the Mulloor Surendran Memorial Award to anindividual who has done outstanding and unique work in the area of Water conservation. The award will consist of a citation, memento and Rs. 5001/-.
Individuals and organizations can make nominations for and on behalf of water crusaders. The last date for receipt of the nominations will be September 30. A jury consisting of eminent persons will select the person to be honoured. The nominations should be addressed to Convener, Mulloor Surendran Memorial Committee, Santhigram, Chappath, Kazhuvur P.O., Pulluvila-695 526, Thiruvananthapuram.
The nominations should contain Name of the Applicant, Full Address, Phone No, e-mail, A brief write up on the activities carried out, its uniqueness and benefits to the society.
