JANADHIKARA SAMMELAN (PEOPLES POWER CONVENTION)

Vizhinjam: Sevagram grama kendram will be the focal point for the Ayal asbhas . Ward vikasana samithies will be formed under grama / ward sabhas of the Grama panchayat and municipal corporation and Sevagram Kendras will function as the office of these vikasana Samities. The Sevagram grama kendra office is a community space and not to be treated as an exclusive office space for the members.
In this context Santhigram in association with political parties and civil society organizations like Poovar, Venganoor Panchayat Development Council (PDC) and Vizhinjam Development Council will be organizing a Peoples power convention to demand for the formation of Ayalsabhas and Ward Vikasana Samithies under grama / ward sabha to be formed before 26th January as per the Kerala government order to realize the objectives of decentralization and transparency in governance.
