Vizhinjam: As part of the one year program in connection with the silver jubilee celebrations of Santhigram in collaboration with Neyyattinkara Government Polytechnic College Social Development through Polytechnics project supported by the Human Resources Development, Government of India is holding a seminar on Medicinal Plants and Grandmothers remedies at Chappath Santhigram, near Vizhinjam on November 10.
The formal inauguration session will be held at 10am and Smt. S Geetha, Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Neyyattinkara will preside over the function.Dr. R.V. Varma, Chairman, Kerala state biodiversity Board will inaugurate the seminar.
he program at will be attended by Smt. Annamma Devasya from Mukkam, Kozhikode popularly known as Chediyamma, traditional Ayurveda practitioner Cherthala Sri. K. Mohanan Vaidyar, Ms. Kanchana Kottangal, Director, B P Moideen Seva Mandir, Kozhikode will lead the discussions on herbal plants, their uses and remedies for various diseases.
